Why should anyone be afraid of being accused of copyiong someone, if that someone is doing it right in the first place? (as long as its not patented, but lets steer away from that can'o'worms).</description>

Hasn't Windows always moved icons/widgets due to third party apps changing the resolution? It seems that my current XP setup isn't doing that but I do remember it happening quite a bit in the past - tho perhaps not in XP?&lt;br /&gt;

Regarding the boot progress, I'd imagine there isn't a way of them doing that without inviting the hordes to scream about copying Apple. I suppose the MS-way is for troubleshooting to be done via booting in safe mode which used to list drivers loaded up to a point.</description>
